Summit Bible Church is a New Testament bible-based church situated in the heart of Abuja, Nigeria. It was founded on the 1st of November 1998 by Pastors Andrew and Ndidi Osakwe at the leading of the Holy Spirit; its inaugural service was held in the sitting room of their home in Kado Estate, Abuja, with eleven people in attendance.
Since its inception, the church has grown into a global ministry with a large congregation overseen by Pastors Andy and Ndidi Osakwe supported by an associate pastor, several assistant pastors, a robust church office staff and voluntary workforce. With its headquarters in Kaura District, Abuja, the church currently has six branches in Abuja-FCT (Kubwa, Kuje, Kabusa, Lugbe, Nyanya and Gwagwalada), one in Keffi, Nasarawa State, one in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, and one in Kissimmee, Florida, USA.
The Summit also has several ministries and fellowships, which include the Ekklesia Teens Church (the teenage church), Church in Antioch (the children’s church), Winning Women (the women’s fellowship), Man of Purpose (the men’s fellowship), the Singles Network and the Summit Youth Changemakers Fellowship. There are several service teams where people who love to work for the Lord find a place to express their passions and desires.
