THE BIOGRAPHY

Born in the Ancient City of Kano, Nigeria. Pastor Chingtok Ibrahim Ishaku Gokir is the fifth of seven children born to Mr. Ishaku and Mrs. Keziah Gokir. He completed his primary school education at the Police Childrens’ School in Kano, and earned his senior secondary certificate education from the Federal Government College, Jos. He is an alumnus of Ahmadu Bello University, with a Bachelor in science degree from the Political Science Department.

A CALL TO SERVICE

While on campus, he served in various leadership positions and also pioneered a revival on the campus. Pst. Chingtok sensed a call to ministry around the year 1995/96. He joined the Oasis of Love Church, Zaria in the year 2004, where he served as the assistant Pastor until the year 2009. It was also his year of departure from the Oasis as he founded the God – Life Assembly under the pastoral covering of Reverend Chris Delvan Gwamna, pastor of the New Life Assembly, Kaduna in the same year. The God- Life Assembly, Zaria blossomed and saw Pst. Chingtok inaugurate ten other pastors to help oversee the running of the assembly. During his time in Zaria, Pst. Chingtok birthed several spiritual events such as the Feast of Eagles (Zaria), the Zaria Praise Festival (an annual worship event that sees the gathering of musical ministers from all over Nigeria) The GLA annual Camp meeting (a convocation of believers from all over Nigeria, gathered to camp for over three-day in a thorough spiritual fast, The last Camp meeting tagged “Balanced” held in Jos, different from the usual location, Zaria). The Kingdom Advancement began in Jos and is a moving train bringing the whole Truth to a city near you.
